BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University softball team took on Roanoke College at Harvey-Dryden Field Wednesday afternoon, falling to the Maroons in both games 10-0 and 10-2. 

Game Notes

• After a tough first game loss, the Knights held their ground in game two, only down four runs at the bottom of the fourth
• Krailyn Guymon recorded an RBI in the bottom of the fouth, advancing Adisen Wester to second, and sending Dykell Jones home for the score
• At the bottom of the sixth inning, Krailyn Guymon again singled, recording her second RBI of the day
• Guymon's hit advanced Adisen Webster to third while sending Krystal Kemp home for the team's second scored run 

The Knights hit the road for the first time on Saturday, March 5, taking on Shenandoah University. Game time is scheduled for 1 pm.
