FREDERICKSBURG, VA. — The Southern Virginia University softball fell in their doubleheader matchup against Mary Washington, falling to the Eagles 5-0 in game one, and 4-0 in game two. 

Game Notes

• In game one, Chloe Nelson led the team with two hits
• Chloe Cochran followed Nelson with one hit
• Game two proved to be a stronger effort for the Knights with Krystal Kemp recording two hits to lead the team 
• Halle Maddock, Afton Brown, Chloe Cochran, and Samantha Johnson each tallied one hit 

The Knights return home to Harvey-Dryden Field on Saturday, March 26, taking on Methodist University. Game one is scheduled for 1 pm, and game two is scheduled for 3 pm.
