Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, VA. — The Southern Virginia University baseball team dropped their mid-week game against Mary Washington Wednesday night 10-4.
Game Notes
- Will Parker continued to be the leader of the team, recording a team-high two hits on five at bats
- Ethan Bergstrom, Nick Daynes, Luke Paulson, Dylan Boyce, and Sinjun Johnson each added two hits
- In the fifth inning, Ethan Bergstrom reached first on an error, allowing Sinjun Johnson to score the unearned run
- Two innings later, Bergstrom SAC flied out to left field, sending Johnson in for the team's second run of the game
- Dylan Boyce, in the ninth inning, scored on a wild pitch before Bergstrom again reached first on an error, bringing in Kyle Thompson for the unearned run
Southern Virginia takes on Averett on Thursday, March 24, for a mid-week matchup. Game time is scheduled for 3 pm.
