BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University men's lacrosse advanced to 7-0 in conference play, taking down Greensboro College Wednesday night. 

Game Notes

• Senior Shawn Lamb led all players with nine points off of four goals and five assists
• Ty Veres had his best game of the season, tallying seven points off of four goals and three assists
• Tennison Schmidt capped the top-three performers with six points off of two goals and four assists
• After a slow start, the Knights jumped to a 5-3 lead after the first quarter off of four consecutive goals led by two Gabe King goals
• Southern Virginia went on a 9-1 in the second quarter to go into the halftime break with the 14-4 lead
• The Knights never looked back in the game, outscoring the Pride the remainder of the game 12-5 to lock in the 26-9 victory

Southern Virginia takes on Brevard on Saturday, April 23, for the times final home game of the season for senior night. Game tim is scheduled for 1 pm.
