BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University softball team dropped both games in their doubleheader series against Greensboro Wednesday night, falling to the Pride 7-0 in game one, and 9-4 in game two.

After a scoreless first game, the Knights showed improvement in their following game
In game two, Chloe Nelson led the team with three hits while Krystal Kemp, Afton Brown, and Halle Maddock each recorded two
Krystal Kemp led the team with two RBIs
In the third inning, Halle Maddock hit a single, bringing Krystal Kemp in for the run
Krystal Kemp sacrificed in the fourth inning allowing Samantha Johnson to score the team's second run
In the sixth inning, Krystal Kemp again doubled, advancing Chloe Nelson in for the run
Afton Brown singled after, sending Krystal Kemp in for the final run for the team
