Lexington, VA - The Southern Virginia swimming teams hosted the University of Lynchburg at the VMI Aquatics Center, experiencing a tough competition with the men's team falling 109-152 and the women's team falling 73-186.

Head Coach Jennifer Moore shared her thoughts on the meet, saying, "Lily Afualo was outstanding tonight! She set a lifetime best in the 500 free, and her performance in the 1000 free was equally impressive. Other standout swims came from Jamie Horne in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and the 100 Butterfly. Andie Prince had a strong 200 IM. On the men's side, it was great to see our seniors—Porter Jones, Parker Kam, and Stuart Burbidge—all performing well in their events and relays. It's been a pleasure coaching them over these last few years. We also honored Kennedy White, who transferred here with her associate's degree last year and will be graduating in May. What a fantastic group. The officials always comment on how respectful and grateful this team is. I could not be more proud."
