BUENA VISTA, Va. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released its regional awards for the 2025 season, and for the second straight season, Southern Virginia University is represented.
Aubrey Packer, a sophomore outside hitter, was named an honorable mention in Region 6 after an impressive maiden season with the Knights. The Bowling Green, Kentucky native totaled 464 kills, the third-most in a season in program history.
Earlier in the month, she was named to the USA South First Team All-Conference and was a two-time conference player of the week.
Packer is just the third player from Southern Virginia to be recognized on an All-Region team, taking after All-American outside hitters Courtney Pinkston and Sydney Bassett.

In addition to her attacking upside, Packer shined defensively as well, placing second on the team with 352 digs and finished the season with 16 double-doubles.
