Southern Virginia University Swim Named To Scholar All-America Team

BUENA VISTA, Va. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced their recipients for the 2025 Fall Team Scholar All-America award.

The award recognizes programs that excel in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of collegiate athletics. It's the highest academic honor awarded by the CSCAA and designates programs at all levels of NCAA athletics, including NAIA and junior college.

The Southern Virginia men's and women's teams, both of which are under the direction of Head Coach Jennifer Jensen, comfortably met the criteria to be recognized.

The men finished the fall semester with a team cumulative GPA of 3.47, while the women's team held a GPA of 3.67, one of the highest marks in Division lll.

The Knights, who are rapidly approaching the postseason, will travel to Lynchburg for their next meet where they'll also compete against a slew of regional opponents in Randolph, Sweet Briar, and Hampden-Sydney.
