EMORY, Va. – Philip Whitley and Hunter Horsley picked up
singles victories as Southern Virginia men's tennis fell 7-2
to Emory and Henry on Monday. The Knights are now 2-2 on the
year.
Whiteley played fourth singles for the first time after playing
fifth singles in the first three matches. He defeated William
Garrison 6-4, 6-0 to improve to 2-2 on the year.
Horsley earned his first singles victory with a 6-2, 5-7, 10-6
win over Chris Wojtera.
The Knights will return to action on Friday at Concord at 4
p.m.
