Men's Tennis Falls to Shenandoah

WINCHESTER, Va.— The Southern Virginia University men's tennis match against Shenandoah University was cut short due to rain. The team fell 5-0 to Shenandoah for its ninth straight loss of the spring season. 

The squad only competed in singles play. Dallin Evans was defeated by a 6-0, 6-2 count. Cort Cox lost by a 6-0, 6-1 score. Kjell Henness, Parker Monson and Tanner Heyland each lost by 6-0, 6-0 scores. As No. 2 singles, Brennan Alford was up 4-3 before the match was called due to rain. 

The Knights will stay home, after five road matches, and host Lynchburg College. The match is scheduled for Thursday at 4pm at The Tennis Courts in Buena Vista, Virginia.
