LYNCHBURG, Va.—The Southern Virginia men's tennis team fell to Randolph College on Thursday afternoon by a score of 6-3 in their only dual match of the non-traditional season.
T.J. Snelson earned two points for the Knights (0-1) with wins in No. 1 singles (6-2, 6-1) and No. 1 doubles (8-3) with partner Zachary Bowers. Jake Fisher added the other point for Southern Virginia with his win in No. 5 singles (2-6, 7-6 [7-5], 1-0 [10-3]).
Southern Virginia's Tanner Bassett won his second set, but fell in the tiebreaker 8-10.
The Knights will open their traditional season at Guilford on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
