LYNCHBURG, Va.—The Southern Virginia men's tennis team won their second in a row on Tuesday in an away match at Lynchburg College, winning 6-3.
"We had a good day, even with some lineup changes," said head coach Tom Snelson, "I'm proud of how we competed and how our top three singles played."
TJ Snelson, Tyler Clark and Justin Fullmer each won their singles matches in the first three tiers. Fullmer took the place of Dallin Evans, whose wife had their first baby this week, in No. 3 singles.
Kjell Henness also earned a win in the No. 5 spot.
The Knights (2-2) picked up two other points in No. 1 and 2 doubles as Snelson and Fullmer teamed up for the first time to pick up the 8-4 win. Clark and Henness also defeated their opponents, 8-5.
