BLUEFIELD, Va.—The Southern Virginia men's tennis team lost 6-3 to Bluefield College on Tuesday afternoon.
The Knights (6-7, 1-3 CAC) won by default in the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles. Tyler Clark earned a win over Carlton Tugman in the No. 2 singles. Clark lost set one 5-7 but won the next two 6-3 and 6-1.
The Rams (3-7) controlled the rest of the matches. TJ Snelson was defeated by Lochlan Kitchen 6-2 and 6-3. Dallin Evans lost 6-2 and 6-4 to Ben Holmes. Justin Fullmer was defeated 6-2 and 6-0 by Conor Whyte. Brennan Alford lost to Patrik Martin 6-2 and 6-1.
In doubles, TJ Snelson and Justin Fullmer lost 8-2 to Lochlan Kitchen and Ben Holmes. Tyler Clark and Dallin Evans fell short 8-4 to Markel Aranberri and Patrik Martin.
The Knights host St. Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday, April 2 at 1 p.m.
