Men's Tennis Edged by Shenandoah

BUENA VISTA, Va.—In their final non-league match the Southern Virginia men's tennis team lost 5-4 to Shenandoah University.

Senior Tyler Clark beat Steven Baker in the #1 singles 6-1 and 7-5. TJ Snelson swept Jesse Ewing 6-0 in both sets at No. 2. Dallin Evans fell to Matt Hwang 6-1 and 6-4. Justin Fullmer lost to Bret Dubin 6-2 and 6-4. Brennan Alford won set two 6-0 but lost 6-1 and 6-4 to Kelly Sykes. Kjell Henness fell 6-1 and 7-5 to Bryan Harris.

Southern Virginia won in the #1 and #3 doubles with wins from Snelson & Fullmer and Evans & Alford.

The Knights will play Frostburg State at home on Thursday before they host St. Mary's College of Maryland in the Capital Athletic Conference first round on Friday, April 15 at 4 p.m.
