BUENA VISTA Va. – With an 8-1 win over Capital Athletic Conference opponent Frostburg State, the Southern Virginia University men's tennis team finishes with a 4-3 record in conference play.
All three doubles teams powered through Frostburg State dropping only four games in doubles action.
In singles, only one Knight fell to the Bobcats. No. 6 Weston Snelson won his maiden match at No. 6 single. In a grueling three set contest, he defeated his opponent 6-3 2-6 10-5. Both Tyler Clark at #2 singles and Zac Bowers at #4 swept their opponents 6-0 6-0.
The Knights will be back in action on Thursday at Shenandoah in a final match before the CAC tournament.
