No. 11 Knights Sweep Eastern Mennonite, Win Fourth Straight

HARRISONBURG, Va. — The Southern Virginia University men's volleyball team won their fourth straight game and remained undefeated in Continental Volleyball Conference action with a win Tuesday night over Eastern Mennonite 3-0.

The No. 11 Knights (7-1, 3-0 CVC) took the first two sets by the score of 25-17 and then the third set by the score of 25-21.

Southern Virginia collected 17 total and hit .306 for the match. Their best game came in the third set with 16 kills and hitting .444.

Sophomore Mark Stapley and Nahuel Recabarren led the attack with nine kills for the Knights. Stapley also hitting .471 and recorded five digs. Kaipo Tagaloa tallied seven digs to go along with his game-high 28 assists. Danny Aina led the game with nine digs.

Today's win is the fourth consecutive sweep for the Knights, they will continue conference play Friday, Feb. 15 against Juniata at 7:00 p.m.
