Box Score BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University women's basketball advanced to the USA South Conference Tournament Semifinals Tuesday night, defeating Mary Baldwin University 69-45.
"We knew coming in that Mary Baldwin would play us tough, they always do," said head coach Lynnette Schroeder. "They're well-coached and we saw that tonight. Our focus was to play one possession at a time, get stops on defense and share the ball on offense. It took us 3 quarters to get there, but we got there."
