BUENA VISTA, Va. - On Wednesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its women's basketball Academic All-America teams for the 2025-2026 season.
15 athletes made up three teams in each of NCAA Division l, ll, and lll, while two teams were selected for NAIA student-athletes.
After a fantastic senior year, which culminated in being named USA South Player of the Year, tournament MVP, and an All-Region selection, Abigail Snyder was voted an Academic All-American, taking a place on the third team for Division lll.

The honor has great prestige behind it, as Snyder is one of only 55 athletes in all of NCAA and NAIA women's basketball named CSC Academic All-Americans, which includes No. 1 WNBA draft pick, Azzi Fudd.
In addition to one of the most prolific scoring seasons in team history, Snyder, who's majoring in Business Management and Leadership, has performed just as well in the classroom. She's only one of two student-athletes on the Division lll teams who boasts a 4.0 GPA.

Additionally, three other Knights received CSC Academic All-District Recognition. Seniors Maria Savvun and Aysia Foster, each of whom led remarkable careers on the court in their own right, as well as Anna Kimball.

To be eligible for Academic All-District, student-athletes needed a minimum GPA of 3.50, while playing at least 90% of their teams contests, or starting at least two-thirds of them. Savvun, Foster, and Kimball each had significant starting roles and were vital to team success.
