BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University men's volleyball team hosted conference foe Juniata College in Knight Arena Friday night, sweeping the Eagles 3-0.

Game Notes
- In the first set, the Knights found themselves down 5-3 early, but would eventually take the 15-10 lead thanks to four Nahuel Recabarren kills
- Kyler Evans put the stamp on the first set, receiving a pass from Kaipo Tagaloa to record the kill and put the team up 1-0 with the 25-22 set win
- The Knights made quick work of the second set, going up 19-12 over the Eagles courtesy of three Paul Candland aces
- Kaipo Tagaloa got into the mix, recording the final kill of the set and putting the team up 2-0
- Southern Virginia again found themselves down early in the second set 9-8, but Recabarren and Kyler Evans brought the team back to go up 19-15
- Juniata tied the set up 20-20, but Evans and Recabarren put away the game, completing the sweep 25-23
Southern Virginia welcomes back Liberty University to Knight Arena, taking on the Flames on Tuesday, March 8. Game time is scheduled for 7 pm.
