BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University men's and women's tennis teams took on William Peace Saturday afternoon for the team's senior night, sweeping the Pacers 9-0 in both matches. 

Men's Match Notes

• In singles, Marcos Dias and Daniel Blonquist swept their opponents 6-0 
• Benton Drake (6-2 6-0) and Tanner Bassett (6-0 6-1) took care of business in their matches
• Mason Pitcher and Marlo Perez-Urrutia finished singles with sweeps of their opponents
• In doubles, all three pairs swept their opponent 8-0

Women's Match Notes

• In singles, Paula Snelson took court one 6-0 6-2 before Anna Schetsselaar won her match 6-3 6-3
• Campbell Bueler and Alyssa Sewell dominated their matches 6-2 6-0, and 6-0 6-1 before Morgan Bean swept her opponent 6-0 6-0
• In doubles duo Paula Snelson and Jillian Arnold won their match 8-2 while Alyssa Sewell and Morgan Bean dominated 8-1

The men's and women's team takes on Averett University on Tuesday, April 19.
