GREENSBORO, NC. — The Southern Virginia men's and women's tennis teams swept the Greensboro College Pride in Wednesday's matches, with the Knights winning both matches 9-0. 

Men's Match Notes

• In court one of doubles, Daniel Blonquist and Tanner Bassett won their match dominantly 8-1
• On the second court, Mason Pitcher and Ethan Campbell won 8-0 with Adam Kelly and Samuel Larson taking care of business 8-0
• In singles, Tanner Bassett took the number one court spot, winning 6-2 and 6-0
• On the second court, Benton Drake took his match 6-0 and 6-1 while Mason Pitcher swept his opponent 6-0 and 6-0
• Marlow Perez-Urrutia, Ethan Campbell, and Adam Kelly wrapped up for the men with three consecutive sweeps

Women's Match Notes

• On the first court in doubles, Paula Snelson and Jillian Arnold dominated their match 8-0 while Nadia Molanphy and Annalise Schetsselaar followed with a sweep of their own 8-0
• In singles, Paula Snelson continued her dominance with a 6-0 sweep 
• Jillian Arnold, Cambell Bueler, and Alyssa Sewell wrapped up the match with three more sweeps 6-0

The men's team takes on NC Wesleyan on Friday, April 8, with game time scheduled for 3 pm while the women take on Lynchburg on Thursday, April 7, at 3 pm.
