BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University men's tennis team took on No. 12 NC Wesleyan Friday afternoon, falling to the Bishops 7-2.

- In doubles action, duo Tanner Bassett and Daniel Blonquist took care of business in court one, defeating their opposition 8-4
- On the second court, Marcos Dias and Benton Drake defeated their opponent 8-7, while the Bishops won the court three doubles match 8-4
- On court one of singles competition, Marcos Dias retired at 5-0 due to an existing injury
- NC Wesleyan won the remainder of the singles matches, locking in their 7-2 victory
