BUENA VISTA, VA -   The USA South Athletic Conference released All-Conference honors shedding light on the Southern Virginia University's football team. Four Knights stood out, earning well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performances during the season.

Leading the way is Senior Colby Hyder, securing Second Team All-Conference Honors. In his impressive fifth year with the Knights, Hyder emerged as a defensive powerhouse, leading the entire USA South in tackles with a staggering total of 116. His dominance extended to averaging 11.6 tackles per game and leading the league in assisted tackles with 70. Notably, Hyder's season featured two crucial sacks and an impressive 51 yards in tackle yards for a loss, placing him third in Southern Virginia's Single-Season tackle record and marking a historic achievement as the most tackles in a season since the university joined NCAA Division III.
 

On the offensive front, freshman Isaac McMullin showcased a stellar debut season, earning himself a spot on the All-Conference Second Team. McMullin concluded the season fifth in the conference for receiving yardage, amassing 517 yards. Additionally, he tied for the league lead in reception touchdowns with six, boasting an average of 3.6 points per game and securing the fifth spot for receiving yards per game while playing in all ten games for the Knights.
 

Rounding out this impressive quartet is freshman Seth Dahl, who not only claimed the fourth position in the USA South for tackles with a total of 81 during the season but also earned Second Team All-Conference Honors. Dahl's prowess as a solid linebacker was evident, with 26 solo tackles, 55 assisted tackles, and a crucial sack, resulting in an average of 8.1 tackles per game.

Notably, Inoke Kaufusi earned USA South All-Sportsmanship Team honors for his role as a vocal leader and exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season.
