Williamsburg, Va. – The Southern Virginia University men's golf team wrapped up its regular season with a strong showing at the Glenn Heath Memorial Invitational, tying for second place in the 15-team field. The event, hosted by The Apprentice School, was held at the par-72, 6,745-yard Williamsburg Golf Club.
The Knights posted team scores of 296 and 311 for a two-day total of 607 (+31), matching William Peace for the runner-up position, just six strokes behind Shenandoah University, who claimed the team title with a 601 (+25).
Nikko Taggart led the charge for Southern Virginia with a stellar opening round 68, followed by an 81 in round two to finish at 149 (+5), tying for 5th place individually.

With all regular season tournaments now complete, the Knights shift their focus to the USA South Conference Tournament, which will be held April 28–30 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Southern Virginia enters the postseason with strong momentum, having consistently placed among the top teams throughout their spring slate.
