Cutrer Named Honorable Mention For IMLCA All-Region 4 Team

Buena Vista, VA - The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) released its All-Region teams for the 2025 season. After one of the most prolific seasons in program history, JT Cutrer was named as an honorable mention in Region 4 a short-stick defensive midfielder.

The IMLCA selected nominated players to form all-region teams for each of the five regions. There is a first team, second, and honorable mention for each region.

The senior from Draper, Utah enjoyed a career season in his final one with the Knights. He nearly doubled his career-high in caused turnovers, finishing with a total of 36, the third most in the USA South. He was also just one of three athletes in the conference to average at least two caused turnovers per game.

For his efforts, Cutrer earned a second consecutive first team all-conference nod, and was named Defensive Player of the Year, the first in program history to receive the award. In a season that was marred by injury for Southern Virginia, Cutrer appeared and started in all 19 games, also contributing 11 goals.
