Five Knights Named To All-CVC Teams; Tolman Named Setter/Player of the year

BUENA VISTA, Va. - On Monday afternoon, the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) released its annual postseason awards for the 2026 season.

For the third consecutive season, the CVC Player of the Year award lands in Buena Vista. After another All-American caliber season, Gehrig Tolman was named CVC Player of the Year and Setter of the Year, voted on by the Head Coaches of the conference.

Despite missing a few games to injury, Tolman is once again amongst the best across Division lll in assists per set, boasting a mark of 9.27.

As team captain, he's navigated the defending national champions to another superb regular season, despite losing all but one starter to graduation. Defensively, he's tallied 135 digs and 33 total blocks and becomes just the second player in conference history to be named Player of the Year and Setter of the Year in the same season.

Joining him on the First Team is outside Brady Dastrup. After a heroic performance in last year's NCAA Final Four, the sophomore from Colorado Springs has embraced the spotlight as one of the Knights leading attackers. Dastrup has totaled 271 kills and over 50 blocks, while being recognized as a CVC Player of the Week once.
