BUENA VISTA, Va.—The Southern Virginia women's volleyball team won their final home game of the season Tuesday night, with a 3-0 sweep of Roanoke College.
During the first set junior setter Valerie Baety reached 1500 career assists, one of only three Knights to ever do so.
Baety finished the match with 21 assists while six Knights (7-14, 2-5 CAC) recorded six or more kills. Morgan Starkie led the team with nine kills. Libero Hanna Hosier led the team with 11 digs.
The Knights topped the Maroons (17-7, 5-5 ODAC) 25-16, 25-15 and 25-16.
Southern Virginia will round out the season this weekend at Salisbury and Wesley on Friday and Saturday.
