FROSTBURG, Md.-The Southern Virginia women's soccer team closed out their conference season on Wednesday night with a 2-1 loss at Frostburg State.
The Knights (5-11, 2-7 CAC) struck first in the 20th minute with a goal by senior Maia McArthur. The Bobcats (10-8, 7-2 CAC) answered with two goals in the 2nd half, the first from a penalty kick in the 48th minute, and the go-ahead goal coming three minutes later.
Keirra Tanuvasa played well for Southern Virginia, contributing three of the Knight's nine shots. Six of the nine shots were on goal.
Megan Turner recorded two saves in goal.
