FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — The Southern Virginia University women's lacrosse team went scoreless in a 17-0 loss against No. 16 University of Mary Washington in Capital Athletic Conference action.
The Eagles (9-4, 3-2 CAC) scored 13 goals in the first half and four in the second to take the dominant win of the Knights (3-10, 0-5 CAC).
Southern Virginia was only able to get two shots, compared to the Eagles 31. Madilyn Krauss and Keilani Torres-Lopez played in goal for the Knights. Krauss recorded two saves and Torres-Lopez had seven.
The Knights travel to Frostburg State University on Wednesday, April 5 as they look for their first conference win of the season. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST.
