LEXINGTON, Va. — The Southern Virginia University baseball team traveled to crosstown rival Washington and Lee University Tuesday afternoon at Cap'n Dick Smith Field. Still, inclement weather forced the game to be called in the bottom of the fifth inning.
In the poor weather conditions, both teams collected one hit through five innings while neither team managed to produce any runs. The two teams will look to reschedule for a later date.
The Knights play next tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m., in the team's home-opener against Ferrum College.
