BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University field hockey team fell to the Vixens of Sweet Briar College in Knight Stadium Wednesday night 6-0. 

Game Notes

• Keira White did all she could in the cage for the Knights, recording 12 saves on 18 shots on goal
• Brigette Gorman got the scoring going in the 6th minute of the game to put Sweet Briar up 1-0
• Brynna Hughes scored a goal off of a Mia Alcoba assist in the 9th minute of the game
• Avery Jones recorded back to back goals, while Colleen Goodly scored a goal off of a Brynna Hughes assist
• Brynna Hughes wrapped up the scoring, tallying the team's sixth goal of the game in the 58th minute

Southern Virginia will host their final home season game on Friday night, hosting Meredith College on October 29. Game time is scheduled for 5 pm.
