HARRISONBURG, VA. — The Southern Virginia University field hockey team took on Eastern Mennonite on the road Wednesday night, falling to the Royals 10-0. 

Game Notes

• In goal, Keira White recorded three saves
• Mariely Aquin and Elizabeth Sorto tallied shots for the Knights
• The Royals opened the game scoring three goals in the first quarter of play
• EMU managed to score four goals in the second quarter before heading into halftime
• The Royals added three more goals to end the game, winning 10-0

Southern Virginia travels to Virginia Wesleyan University Saturday, September 25, to take on the Marlins. Game time is scheduled for 2 pm.
