- Starting the second, Bridgewater used a 3-0 run to extend their lead to six 7-1, but Southern Virginia answered strongly with a 2-0 run of their own with goals from Chloe Mitchell, Tyler John, and Natalie Yule
- The Knights went into the halftime break trailing the Eagles 4-7
- Addison England scored her first career goals to kick off the second half off an assist from Chloe Mitchell to put the squad within two goals 5-7
- Two minutes later, Skyler Roe scored her first career goal off of an assist from Natalie Yule to make the new score 6-9
- Southern Virginia closed out the third quarter outscoring Bridgewater 5-1 courtesy of Tyler John, Skylar Roe, Natalie Yule, and Abbey Peperone goals to tie up the game 11-11 heading into the final quarter
- The Eagles rebounded in the fourth, overcoming the Knights 5-1 in scoring to take home the 16-12 victory
Southern Virginia makes the short travel to Lynchburg, Virginia on Saturday, March 5, to take on Lynchburg University. Game time is slated for 4 pm.
