- Skylar Roe got things going for the Knights in the first quarter, putting the team up 1-0 after Tyler John dished out an assist
- Tyler John closed the first quarter with a goal from Chloe Mitchell putting the team up 5-1 heading into the second quarter
- Both teams were evenly matched in the second with each team scoring four goals
- Heading into the halftime break, the Knights held the 9-5 advantage over the Panthers
- Chloe Mitchell scored the first goal of the second half after receiving a pass from Alissa Johnson
- Johnson would later score an unassisted goal to put the team up 13-6 going into the final quarter
- Southern Virginia walked away with the 16-7 win after outscoring Ferrum 3-1
The Knights remain home on Saturday, March 26, taking on NC Wesleyan for a USA South Conference matchup. Game time is slated for 4 pm.
