ARLINGTON, VA. — The Southern Virginia University women's lacrosse team fell in their matchup against Marymount University Wednesday night, falling to the Saints 23-6. 

Game Notes

• Alissa Johnson led the team with four points on the night, scoring three goals and one assist along with five draw controls
• Following Johnson, Addison England, Tyler John, and Chloe Mitchell each added one goal
• In the first quarter, Alissa Johnson scored the team's first goal before Tyler John closed the first quarter with a goal
• Addison England scored the team's third goal of the game at the 6:59 mark of the second off of a free position shot
• Tyler John found an open Chloe Mitchell to connect for a goal before the halftime break, down 13-4 before the third quarter
• After a scoreless third quarter, Alissa Johnson scored back-to-back unassisted goals to wrap up the scoring for the Knights

Southern Virginia will look to bounce back, taking on Pfeiffer on Saturday, April 2. Game time is slated for 4 pm.
