Box Score BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University women's lacrosse team took on Averett University for the team's senior night in Knight Stadium Tuesday night, confidently taking down the Cougars 20-9.

- Chloe Mitchell had a solid outing, posting six points off of two goals and four assist

- After the first quarter, the Knights held onto the 4-3 lead, with Alissa Johnson scoring two out of her seven goals
- Heading into the halftime break, Southern Virginia doubled up Averett, holding the 12-6 advantage
- Skylar Roe opened up the third quarter with with back-to-back goals
- Alissa Johnson closed out the scoring for the team, scoring her seventh goal in the fourth quarter, locking in the team's 20-9 win
Southern Virginia takes on Huntingdon for the team's final regular season game of the year on Saturday, April 23. Game time is scheduled for 1 pm.
