MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA — The Southern Virginia University women's lacrosse team took on Huntingdon College Saturday afternoon for a road contest, taking down the Hawks 18-2.

Game Notes

• Alissa Johnson led all players with eight points off of three goals and five assists
• Tyler John continued her dominant season, scoring four goals
• Chloe Mitchell locked in season-high five goals, while adding six draw controls
• The Knights took a commanding 9-1 lead after the first quarter of play, led by three Adelaide Smith goals 
• Chloe Mitchell added two goals in the second quarter to extend the team's lead to 11 heading into the halftime break
• Southern Virginia outscored Huntingdon 6-1 the remainder of the game, taking the 18-2 victory

The Knights will look to prepare for the USA South Conference Tournament, awaiting the decision of their opponent and time of competition.
