Southern Virginia Women's Lacrosse Dominates William Peace

CARY, NC. — The Southern Virginia University women's lacrosse team took on William Peace Saturday afternoon for a USA South Conference showdown, with the Knights taking down the Pacers 16-1.

Game Notes

  • Freshman Adelaide Smith led all players with a career-high four goals 
  • Tyler John followed with a hattrick and an assist while Addison England scored three goals 
  • Chloe Mitchell, Piper Searle, and Skylar Roe rounded out the scoring with two goals each
  • Alissa Johnson dominated the draw circle, bringing in six draw controls
  • Southern Virginia opened the game going ahead 6-0 in the first quarter, led by three Adelaide Smith goals
  • In the second quarter, Addison England led the way with three consecutive goals to lead the team into the halftime break with the 12-0 lead
  • The Knights outscored the Pacers 4-1 the remainder of the day to walk away with the 16-1 victory

Southern Virginia takes on Brevard on Saturday, April 16, in Knight Stadium. Game time is set for 3 pm.
