Buena Vista, VA - The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) released its 2024-2025 College Division Men's and Women's Swimming All-State teams. The Knights were well represented, with three men making the second team, and four women on the first and second teams, including one relay.

Men's Swimming

Grayson Garcia (Free Sprint), Roman Nowell (Free Sprint), and McCormick Johnson (Breast) were recognized on the men's side as part of the All-State Second Team. They were the top three scorers on the team throughout the season, and produced excellent finishes at the Independent South Championships, including two firsts from Roman Nowell.

Women's Swimming

Rylee Nugent (Free Distance) and Jesi Fuhriman (Free Sprint) represent the Knights on the All-State First Team. They were also part of the 400 Medley Relay quartet that was given a first team nod. The duo combined for four individual victories at the Independent South Championships.

Jamie Horne (Free Sprint, Fly), Jesi Fuhriman (Breast), and Amelia Beckstead (IM) were selected to the All-State Second Team. Horne was the Independent South Women's Swimmer of Year after taking part in four wins at the conference meet. Beckstead has an excellent season herself with two firsts at the conference meet and a season best time of 5:09.00 in the 400 IM.
