BUENA VISTA, Va. - Ahead of its defense of the USA South title, the Southern Virginia University women's volleyball team has finalized its schedule for the 2025 season.

In her eighth season, Head Coach Debby Baker's squad will open the regular season with a pair of tournaments. First, the Covenant Classic which begins play on Friday, August 29th. Their first opponent will be Spalding University before facing Covenant College and George Fox in the next two matches.

The following weekend, Southern Virginia will participate in the W&L Invitational before holding its home opener in Knight Arena on Tuesday, September 9th, at 6:00 PM against Eastern Mennonite.

The Knights will begin competition in the USA South on Saturday, September 20th during the team's only home tri-match. They'll face Pfeiffer and William Peace to initiate league play. Southern Virginia produced a 15-3 mark in conference games and its third tournament championship in four years last season.

The final regular season match of the year will be in Knight Arena on October 29th against Methodist. Other notable contests include rematches of last year's USA South Championship with Salem College on September 24th and October 22nd.

The USA South Conference Tournament will commence on Tuesday, November 11th. Eight teams qualify for the postseason, and each game will be hosted by the higher seed in the matchup.
